After a mysterious tornado hits her reservation and her father dies, Danielle Moonstar wakes up tied up in a hospital bed. Doctor Reyes tells the girl that she is the only survivor, and now, together with four teenagers, she is in a specialized institution, where they are studied and taught to control their superpowers. Soon Dani finds out that it is impossible to leave the territory fenced with a force field, and the guys begin to be haunted by seemingly very real nightmares.
